My proposal is to create a augmented reality system that provides the same functions as a satellite navigation system. The user puts in there destination and the root information is displayed infront of them, also there root will be displayed on the road infront of them.
The advantage of using a system like this would be that the user would not have to look down at a screen to see where they should be going, this would increase the safty as they would not need to take there eye's off the road to confirm there root.
The second advantage of this type of system is that the user can see which lane of the road they should be in, with a standerd sat nav the user gets told that they need to take the second terning off a roundabout, which depending on the roundabout you could need to be in the middle lain or the left. This often leads to people being in the incorect lain so they are forced to change lain which can course acidents, so being pre informed on which lain to be in would mean that the driver is safer.
